The House
"La Triguera" offers all its guests a friendly welcome. A haven of peace and tranquillity it is an opportunity to relax and de-stress from a busy modern world (and to breathe in some pure mountain air).
The house and its pretty garden are set in an intimate, yet spectacular setting - nestling in the very heart of the majestic mountains of Cazorla. The mill chase from nearby Molino La Farraga and the river below provide the gentle sound of running water. Numerous varieties of birds are frequent visitors to the garden.
Over the years Gerardine Healy, the owner of La Triguera, has built up an extensive knowledge of the local area and the province of Jaén. Gerardine is always happy to share her love and enthusiasm for the area and its customs and will gladly answer any questions you may have.
Weather permitting breakfast is served on the main terrace. Early spring and autumn evenings are ideal to relax and enjoy the wood-burning fire in the living room.
